We wanted to share this simple but important information with you, to make the process of choosing and selecting a Mural much easier for you.
I know it can be hard to know if you've selected the right product when you're left to go it alone online! In this short blog, I'll share with you what to look out for, to get the very best out of the mural you chose.
Ok, so let's get into it!
The first question to ask yourself is, have I chosen a mural that is the same shape as my wall? Our murals are mostly landscape, so that's a long rectangular shape.
This is what your mural will look like installed on a wall that is the same shape as it (landscape). This is the ideal situation, as all of the imagery, fits perfectly on the wall.
If your wall is square or portrait shaped, you will lose some of the design. So let's visually see what happens in these circumstances.
In this example for a square wall, using a landscape image, as you can see a lot of the image has been cut off here, this is because the image has to be stretched to fill the shape of the square wall.
Let's do the same example, using a portrait shaped wall, as the wall is narrow and long, there is a lot of image loss in the design.
Now, remember we are talking about the shape of the wall not the size of the wall, if your mural and wall are pretty much the same shape, we can print any custom size to fit your wall exactly.
